Ended up having to buy a Sabrent USBC - M.2 drive caddy which came with Sabrent's Acronis. I had never previously had this problem with an USB3-Sata cable. I just did this (Win 10, Lenovo X1 Carbon) and it was not as straightforward as previous disk clones.įirst off the free clone software (Crucial branded Acronis) wouldn't recognize the new Crucial M.2 SSD via the USB3-M.2 adaptor I had bought.
